I made a cake last week and I am still nibbling on it.  Actually, most days it’s not a nibble. It’s more like an overabundance of joy on my mind and in my mouth!  You see, I love cake! I also love cooking and most certainly love baking, but eating is the real joy.  I love tasting and eating what I created.  I love food and the process of creating something special and beautiful.  How about you?  What’s your love when it comes to using your creativity?  What are you dying to do?

In the midst of that cake is a vision. Behind that mound of ice cream is a dream.  Under the mountain of laundry or in midst of all the youthful screams from the “Little’s” is a mass of creativity.  On the job, when you are feeling the weight of it all and you reach for that cookie, the coffee, tea, or the soft drink you must have, STOP and think. There is a world of ideas stuck in your head wanting a release.  In the very moment our minds want to release what is held captive because of stress and fear, we seek something that will please our senses, but deprive us from the very thing we need to do so we can release the flow of creativity. Behind that layer of cake is an author full of stories and adventures.  Behind that cake is an entrepreneur, a true leader in some special area who is waiting to launch out!

Eat cake! Eat cake! Eat cake and an abundance of it! Just don’t remain captive behind that luscious mound of deception, that unfulfilling mass of frosting with no ability to really fulfill any of your dreams, but can fill you with more empty desires for more empty desires. Eat cake if you want to eat cake, but don’t let it stop you from doing what you’re meant to do.  By the way, I am at a coffee shop enjoying a lemon glazed slice of scrumptious cake, but I am working on my vision.  My vision is helping others realize you can do all things through Christ. (Philippians 4: 13 KJV)  My vision is to help you realize you can have your cake and eat it too! 🙂 Launch out, while eating cake!  Happy Launching!  🙂
