Getting focused, being motivated and accountable are all excellent elements that could be enlisted in one’s life plan for the New Year. Change isn’t always easy and we naturally resist change as humans. Assistance and accountability can be a key component for success. Gaining knowledge and value are also part of the process used to assist people that want balance in their lives. Pursue balance and authenticity in your business, career, family life, spirituality, health and wellness and other key areas.
As we go through life we must recognize the various life stages. There will always be change of some kind.

Change is inevitable, it’s what we do in the process that matters!

I’ve had many opportunities for change. I am reminded of a particular time when I needed direction and reassurance. God spoke these words in my heart.

You’re supposed to trust me.  You’re supposed to trust me to pave the way, set up the day, lead and guide you every day.  You’re supposed to trust me, Keena, when you see no beginning and when you see no end.  You’re supposed to trust me when each day feels like the day before and the day before, and the day before. 

You’re supposed to trust me when all seems dark and you see no lights.  You’re supposed to trust me when you feel overwhelmed and you have no idea which way to go, what path to take or which turn is yours.  You’re supposed to trust me because, I am God. 

I am your father and as your father, I will do what is best.  I will navigate the turns, make the paths for you to walk on, light up the darkness, so you have light along the way, I will calm your fears, lead and guide you each day.  I will show you your beginning and carry you to the end.  I will give purpose to your life, provide what you need, show you the way and walk with you until you reach the point in your life where trusting me is like breathing, and then, only then will I watch you walk upright, but you will never be alone, because I will never leave you.  That’s what good Fathers do.
